Off-Ice Practice Area:
There is no official off-ice practice room for the event. If teams choose to practice in the main concourse, they must ensure that they are neither interfering with public access nor playing music at a volume that interferes with the practice or competition skates.
2nd Skate Draw:
The draw information for Sunday will be posted in the results area. This will occur Saturday night after each flood and at the end of the last category.
Category results will be posted in the Access to Seating area closest to Dressing Room #1 when they are available. One complimentary protocol will be available to your team manager after the day’s competition and awards when they pick up the music. Report cards and protocols for each category will be posted on the Skate Canada AB/NWT/Nunavut website.
Our First Aid volunteers can be found in the team box at rink side during all practices and during competition. As well, the Volunteer Lounge will also be stocked with First Aid supplies (next to Dressing Room #3).
We welcome your club/team banners but they should not be posted over any EXIT signs, Max Bell memorabilia or advertising on the arena walls. You are responsible for set up and take down.
Images Unlimited will be taking team photographs. Please fill out and return the Photography Release Form to the competition registration desk.
Are asked to be parked in the South lot behind Max Bell. Bus drivers will be given free admittance to the competition.
The Organizing Committee and the Management and Staff of the Max Bell Centre request that the concourse area, hallways and dressing rooms be kept as clean as possible. Please do not bring large quantities of outside food into Max Bell. We have been in contact with the concession to ensure that healthy food options will be available for the skaters.
We look forward to seeing your performances and your smiles. Have a great skate!
